The Empowering Leadership Archetype Model

About The Empowering Leadership Archeytpe Model
_The model is a framework for self understanding at its core. Based on
the premise that we all have a number of different Leadership
Archetypes that reflect who we are and what we are capable of. We are
all unique and that is something to be celebrated
We each have a primary Leadership Archetype which is our most recognisable. This Archetype is the one that we recognise most in ourselves. It’s the one we are most conscious to and the one that reflects our intellect, our thoughts, beliefs and emotions.
We also have two secondary Leadership Archetypes, the ones that others usually recognise in us most freely. We can at times be very unconscious to the influences of these Archetypes, that is, until work with the model has been completed and the unknown becomes known. The importance of this knowing relates directly to self understanding and ultimately greater self acceptance. When we know
something about ourselves we are in a more empowered position to accept those things about ourselves that we may struggle with and to leverage those things about ourselves we love and see as our gifts
These three key Leadership Archetypes are determined by completing the Leadership Archetypes Profiling Tool which requires participants to complete a thorough questionnaire. Following collation of the results a Personal Leadership Profile is created. Each profile report outlines the Primary and Secondary Leadership Archetypes;
Shannon has defined 7 Pillars of Personal Leadership, the essence of knowing and understanding that form the basis of learning, understanding, acceptance and integration required to achieve effortless success and a meaningful, empowered life

- Key personal message, the unique expression of each Archetype summed up in a powerful statement
- Light and shadow aspects and what they mean
- Natural path to wholeness outlining the suggested journey to greater self understanding and acceptance
- Key opportunities for learning more about yourself and others and
- Creative style, so that you know how you best express yourself in the world and more

_Once the profile has been defined the next step is to
complete a 'mapping process'. This supported creative process, usually
conducted in a single session, provides further opportunity for in-depth
self discovery and understanding. A third layer of Leadership
Archetypes, the Motivational Archetypes are selected by the participant at
this stage
Motivational Leadership Archetypes represent the qualities, traits and things that we aspire to be, do and express. The most significant learning at this stage is that we each have the potential to fully achieve and integrate the features of these Motivational Archetypes because we already have them within us The mapping process leaves the participant with a visual representation of the information provided in their unique, individual profile report. An artistic interpretation of the 'archetypal map' can be seen at right Our Archetypes do not change over the course of our lifetime meaning that this map will continue to be a reference point for self understanding, self acceptance, empowerment, confidence building and for knowing how our personal leadership style can support us on our journey through life. It starts with an individual and then extends to their peer group, family, school or professional group, community, country and beyond |
